Brent Bythewood serves as business development officer where he is responsible for sourcing and developing new deposit and loan relationships with clients, prospects, and referral sources. He has more than 10 years of experience in the financial industry. His vast knowledge on Commercial Loan products has served his clients well while he helps navigate their needs and transactions. Bythewood’s community and industry involvement includes being an ambassador for Williamson Inc., board member with Down Syndrome Association of Middle Tennessee, Board Member for AeroAngel, and is active in his church at Crosspoint.
Katie Horne serves as our community development manager, with over 17 years in finance, she leads our community engagement relationships. She's held pivotal roles at Fifth Third Bank, Peoples State Bank, and Regions Bank. As a committed community member, she's an Ambassador for the Williamson Chamber, on the Doorstep Project board, a Downtown Franklin Rotary member, and active with Junior Achievement, Second Harvest Food Bank, and One Generation Away. Recently joining the TBA Women’s Committee, Katie remains dedicated to empowering women in finance, showcasing her extensive experience and philanthropic spirit.
Wade Privett joins Sonata Bank as relationship manager. Prior to joining Sonata, he spent nearly seven years as defensive coordinator for the football program at Father Ryan High School. He also served six years at Williamson Public Schools in roles including teacher, football coach and athletic director. Privett now uses his vast network and years of relational skills consulting with business owners on their banking needs and helping to build Sonata’s growing commercial banking base.
Kelly Johnson has over 20 years of banking and mortgage experience in the greater Nashville area. Prior to joining Sonata, Kelly held leadership roles at Regions Bank, Fifth Third Bank and most recently Volunteer State Bank where he spent the last 5 years. Originally from Memphis, Kelly graduated from the University of Tennessee in 1994. He is the current president of the board of directors for the Nashville Adult Literacy Council and past president / current Treasurer for Needlink Nashville. He also is a member of the downtown Nashville Kiwanis Club.
A native Tennessean, Bridget Wooden has 25 years of industry experience, with an emphasis on commercial banking. Her most recent position was Fourth Capital Bank in the commercial lending department. Previously at Citizens Bank in Hendersonville she assisted with the opening of a new branch from construction to opening. She spent 18 years at Citizens Tri-Co Bank focusing on consumer lending and community relations. Wooden graduated from Southern School of Banking and her banking industry and community involvement includes serving several years on the board of directors of the Young Bankers Division of Tennessee Banking Association and participating in Relay for Life.
Jennifer Myers serves as Director of Treasury Management and brings more than 30 years of commercial and retail banking experience to the department. Before joining Sonata, she played a key role in building out Treasury Management departments at two local community banks with individual assets of $3.9 Billion and $2.4 Billion and was instrumental in the addition of multiple successful product lines to those banks. She specializes in the Captive Insurance, Title Company, and 1031 Exchange space. She has actively served more than 4 years on the Finance Committee at Rolling Hills Community Church and is a member of the Association for Financial Professionals, Nashville. She is also a member of the Tennessee Captive Insurance Association, serving twice as the TCIA Conference Committee Chair. Jennifer is also active in her community, volunteering at the Second Harvest Food Bank, Shower up, Junior Achievement and Habitat for Humanity.
