Sonata Bank Enlists Local Industry Leaders to Form Advisory Board

SEBREE, KY – JUNE 3, 2024

Sonata Bank, formerly Sebree Deposit Bank, announces the formation of its advisory council, which is comprised of five high-profile members of the local business community. The advisory board’s common goal is fostering economic growth in the greater Sebree region.

“Sonata Bank is honored to have this distinguished group of community business leaders come together,” said Wendell Bontrager, Sonata Bank’s president and chief lending officer. “Their diverse perspectives will inform our decision making around new solutions to better serve our community,” he added.

The Sonata Bank Sebree Advisory Board convened their first meeting in January 2024 with plans to meet quarterly. The advisory board includes the following community business leaders:

  • Nancy Eblen, former vice president, B & N Enterprises;
  • Tommy “TJ” Joe Fridy, attorney-at-law and founder, Fridy Law Firm.
  • Bobbie Jarrett, executive director, Henderson, Kentucky Housing Authority;
  • Jennifer M. Keach, director of communications and community relations, Big Rivers Electric Company; and
  • Mark Moser, president and owner, E & M Heating, AC, and Plumbing in Sebree
  • George and Jane Warren are a multigenerational, entrepreneurial family with successful businesses in coal, agriculture, and banking; they were the former owners of Sebree Deposit Bank.
